Romney was right when he said 47% of the vote is pretty much lost to us, because they aren’t paying taxes, but do receive benefits. There are a sizable number of the remaining 53% who think spending even more money on the poor is a good idea.

I agree and so does the Federal Government at least when it comes to wild animals in our National Parks - They all have signs that say DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS. If you do they become dependent on the free stuff and forget how to forage for food as they should.
Same with humans. You give them the necessities of life they lose the ability to provide for themselves. The experiment started by Johnson in the 1960s has proven the point. Agree. Just get rid of it. Personally I’ve always felt that if its indeed a free country then you have to let people buy what they want with the food assistance money. You can’t protect everyone against themselves.
