Where did you get these ChatGPT answers? It doesn’t understand religion very well. Apparently, it is totally incapable of competing with the Talmud.

I have an account that gives me access to ChatGPT 4.0. I am using it to translate technical German with complex equations into English.

Not sure why one would want something to compete with the Talmud. However, ChatGPT 4.0 is aware of the Talmud.
The Talmud is a central text of Rabbinic Judaism, serving as both a record of rabbinic discussions and a comprehensive guide to Jewish law, ethics, customs, and history. It is composed of two main components: the Mishnah and the Gemara.

Mishnah: The Mishnah, written in Hebrew, is the earliest compilation of Jewish oral law, dating back to the 2nd century CE. It is divided into six orders (Sedarim), which are further divided into 63 tractates (Masekhtot). The Mishnah provides a legal framework for various aspects of Jewish life, including agriculture, festivals, marriage, civil and criminal law, and ritual purity.

Gemara: The Gemara, written in Aramaic, is a record of rabbinic discussions and commentaries on the Mishnah. It includes interpretations, debates, stories, and ethical teachings, offering further insight into Jewish law and tradition. There are two versions of the Gemara, one from the Land of Israel (Palestinian or Jerusalem Talmud) and one from Babylonia (Babylonian Talmud). The Babylonian Talmud is considered more authoritative and is the version most widely studied today.

The Talmud is not only a legal code but also serves as a repository of Jewish wisdom, folklore, and ethical teachings. It is deeply rooted in the Jewish tradition of learning, interpretation, and debate, and continues to be an essential source of guidance for Jewish religious practice and daily life. The study of the Talmud is a significant part of Jewish religious and intellectual life, with numerous commentaries and interpretations produced throughout history.
