NFL legend Brett Favre called for a boycott of Fox News on Monday, following the network’s decision to cut ties with host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson.
“I’m with Tucker. Time to boycott Fox until they come to their senses and let the man speak,” Favre wrote to his Twitter followers on Monday morning. The statement was joined by a montage video featuring Sirius XM host Megyn Kelly decrying Fox’s decision to cut Carlson from his show, followed by clips of Carlson from his iconic primetime show.
In the clip featuring Kelly, she suggested that the reason Carlson and Fox have been unable to come to terms on a deal is because the network wants to silence him. “He needs to be silenced while Fox tries to rebuild that disappearing audience,” Kelly stated.

She further argued that Fox is banking on their audience returning to watch political debates in August, or the potential announcement from Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that he’s running for president. The rest of the video is a supercut of some of Carlson’s most influential statements, most of which could be argued as going against the wants and needs of the global elites who influence corporate media outlets.
The video concludes with the words, “Show Tucker you stand with him. Stand with Tucker. Boycott Fox News!”
Fox News abruptly ended Carlson’s show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” for still-unknown reasons in late April, replacing him with a mishmash of the network’s less successful anchors.

I DVRd The Five, Tucker, Jesse, Sean, Laura, Trace Gallagher’s show every night, and FOX and FRiends on Sat and Sun AND the FOX sports programs. I was a FOX “Junkie”
I NEVER WATCHED A MSM NETWORK! I have long considered the “mainstream media TV networks” an enemy of America, and refused to watch them. HST, I did DVR the odd One America News and NEWSMAX show FRom time to time.
Of course, I didn’t watch each of them FRom start to finish, but would fast forward through the repetition, commercials, low interest “stuff,” and quickly buzz the people I didn’t like (Geraldo and Jessica come immediately to mind, and I never listened to any Democrat (other than Harold Ford, Jr.) - I refer to Democrats and RINOS as “LIEberals, and refuse to listen to their LIES!)
Having said all that, I quit FOX completely and absolutely on the Monday that I found out Tucker was off the air.
Not only that, I had been a cable subscriber since November, 2004 - first with AT&T and most recently with XFINITY. I fired AT&T last year for raising my monthly bill to $225.00 FRom $150.00, and fired XFINITY cable last Thursday because I no longer watch cable TV and do not care to continue to subsidize FOXCBSNBCMSNBCCNN et al every month.
They went woke, and they can go broke, AFAIAC!
I have had IQFIBER install a high speed fiber optic internet service, and as soon as my VOIP land line telephone is ported over to OOMA, I’ll drop my XFINITY telephone and internet service!
All I have to do now is figure out how to DVR over the air HD TV and streaming shows. I am told that it can be done - I hope so; I HATE to watch live TV, primarily because a one hour show, absent commercials, is only about 40 minutes long. I like the idea of saving 20 minutes on the hour whilst watching TV.
And, I will spend some time streaming Real America’s Voice, One America News and NEWSMAX, and other worthwhile shows, movies, etc. etc.
And, I will, of course, wait for Tucker to land on his feet somewhere!

The Tucker saga and Fox’s massive ratings crash is literally one of biggest news stories right now, yet they try to ptetend it’s not happening - to them. They’ve gone full blown yellow news.
Even before this disaster, Fox was already down 33% year-over-year in the key 25-54 demo.

We have been boycotting all video B$ from Fox since they cheated on reporting Biden as the winner in the presidential election.

REMOVE FOX NEWS AND FOW BUSINESS NEWS FROM YOUR “FAVORITES” on your cable box. If it’s normally out of sight, you won’t be tempted. Make it an ABSOLUTE 100% all-the-time boycott.
Welcome to the streaming only club. I dropped Comcast Xfinity cable just over a year ago. This was because the only thing my wife and I were watching on TV anymore were Patriots games, other sporting events like the Masters, British Open and Fox News. On Fox News we were only watching The Five, Tucker and Gutfeld!
Up until a month ago we would still catch Tuckers & Gutfelds monolog on YouTube.
Now, I only watch Gutfeld if Tyrus is on.

In radio and television, people get fired all the time. It’s part of the business. Tucker is going come out of this just fine. He will probably end up making more money, and do it on his time.

I did that 3 years ago. All I have is my computer. I find that I can still keep up with what’s going on by scanning You Tube and mostly Free Republic. I finally realized that television was a waste of money. Haven’t missed a thing.
OR, buy yourself a Roku TV and drop cable altogether.
The Roku TVs make it so simple to stream channels over the internet that there is no reason to have cable anymore.
I do pay for Netflix and Prime. I had Paramount+. Canceled that. I may start it up again in NFL season.
I tried Fox Nation when they had their introductory rate. I cancelled that a few months ago. The funniest thing on Fox Nation was the new version of COPS. I was amazing watching them catch all sort of criminals other than African Americans.
We cut our cable about 8+ years ago.
No FAUX in my house!
