They probably chose a photo that closely resembled another. They may have even doctored it just to get this reaction.
There is no reason whatsoever that we should take at face value anything the state says against Trump.
Actually, at this point there would be something wrong with us if we DID believe anything we were told by the state.
The picture is in the article, Trump is seen from the back facing a woman, only her face and some of her hair is seen. Notably, there is also a second woman in that same picture, closer to the camera who is likely his ex wife (I don't know her by sight). In the same damned picture.
Trump probably wasn't paying close attention to the deposition, maybe it was late into a ling session, saw her, in a picture he was handed and asked to identify the woman in the picture, and responded thinking that his ex wife, who is closer to the camera was the woman he was asked to identify.
Unfortunately, Trump is so conditioned to never admitting even a minor mistake, he tries to play it off as a blurry picture rather than saying "I thought you were talking about this other woman who is also in the picture".
If this is the line of attack against Trump, he's going to lose because he's probably stuck with a hand picked hostile jury. Then, every news story for the rest of his life will lead with confusing language about how he was convicted of rape and the Trump haters won't care one bit that it isn't even remotely true, they only care that something stuck.
