The latest New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey illustrates the massive toll that COVID-19 took on the city since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.
According to the data, about one in four New Yorkers, or nearly 2 million residents, lost at least one person — defined as a friend, family member, colleague or neighbor — to the illness, and more than one in 10 New Yorkers, almost 900,000 residents, lost three or more people.
Among about a million essential workers, the survey found that 29 percent lost one or more person to COVID-19.
The survey also shed light on the acute impacts of the pandemic on people of color. Between March and June of 2020, about 1.1 million New Yorkers continued going to work, and about 800,000 people in this group, or 72 percent, were people of color.

A huge portion of the people listed as having died of Covid died from something else. And those fake tests really messed up the stats.
I wish The Hill had a print version so I could line my bird cage.

Deaths certificates can be amended to say that the death was from CoupFlu.
All the stats are crap.
The six degrees of separation theory creates a greater number.
So 29% of emergency workers lost someone they were “close” with..
And about 25% of the general public lost someone they were close with?
I call absolute bull crap on this.
The folks working day in and day out with folks infected have a less than a 20% deviation from the general public?
Absolute BS.
That small of a deviation shows that covid risk was insanely low, which it was.. so to claim general public was at 25% baseline is crap.
You can’t have this sort of deviation. If covid was insidiously dangerous that 1 in 4 of general population know somone who died of it, the front line worker deviation would be far higher than 20%
If threat from covid was low, then 1 in 4 is too large by far.
These numbers cannot be reconciled with any reality

And not a peep out of healthcare providers about risk.
Actually while some infected people may have died solely due to other causes, that number has been overblown itself.
COVID kills people in a number of ways and the original strain was pretty bad. I know three people who died of COVID. Two had medical issues but one was fairly young and healthy, got infected right at the beginning and died within two weeks, leaving a widow and two young kids. I live very close to two nursing homes and they were taking dead folks out of them almost every other day at one point.
Chinese scientists were not wasting their time engineering a common cold.
Was COVID exaggerated…..yes to a certain extent but it was nothing to fool around with either, especially now that we have a better understanding how toxic the spike protein is and how it permanently damages the heart, lungs and other vital organs in many who just had mild infections.
I very remotely know two people who died of Covid.
One, a pastor I knew in the 1990s. I heard of his death thirdhand. He had been quite aged, ill, and in a convalescent home.
The second, a man I met once at a wedding. Seemingly healthy 60 year old.
That’s it.
The three people in question were Ethel Horowitz, Tara Flanagan, and Eddie “the Knife” Esposito. They really get around.

At church... A woman in her nineties had a stroke. The local hospital said “KUNG FLU” killed her. cha-ching..... Mo money mo money mo money.

The WHO document tells with arrows.... I find it sad and yet amusing that so many used the "stats" until the stats started showing strange anomalies, and then the same people started using "estimates" and "models" to make the "event" bigger.
The "stats" say that the "CoupFlu" has a forty month long mortality rate of less than one tenth of one percent. Even Johns Hopkins has stopped reporting, after the UW folks stopped their "forecasts."
Can we then say that Covid-19 in Cuomo's New York was/is racist?

Any doctor or administrator who participated in spreading this false information should be arrested, charged, convicted and punished. Are you able to track the responsible parties?
