You are correct. Also, the “letter” is not a definitive declaration but says it has all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation campaign.
The best thing to do is to bring Brennan and Clapper up, say that they have been involved in multiple scandals in DC and revoke their security clearance, effective immediately.
The same for the remaining 49 officials. Revoke all their security privileges.
They are traitors and must be punished.

Their Security Clearnces were revoked by Trump, but unbeknownst to him, government staffers never actually revoked them in defiance of direct Presidential orders. I dint think it was made known until he left office.
