It would not surprise me in the least to see Putin bring back the Red Banner of the Soviet Union as the national flag of Russia. Heck, I would not be surprised to see him resurrect the name “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” and then demand that the former republics join the new Soviet empire.
Some may have noticed that the lone vintage tank in Putin’s May 9th event carried the red hammer and sickle flag of the Stalin days.
