I remember 1989 when California released Pat Purdy from a mental institution, allowed him to buy guns in violation of state and Federal laws, then he went and shot up the Stockton school yard killing several students and himself.
California pulled out an already prepared AW ban bill and passed it before opposition could be mounted against it.
I expect the same thing to happen soon in Colorado as they already have a bill prepared.
