Every debate that takes place without Trump will drive those people who watched one or two debates and left to see what hats up with Trump.
My memory is quite different. When I saw that first debate, I became a fan of Trump’s. My decision was made. Trump said that that debate made him ferl like he really could win. In other words, it backfired.
