I'm pleased to find my expectations were wrong.
Kemp also signed a fishing rights bill.

And a health care bill which seems to have little to do with actual health care.

He’ll ignore the new law like he ignored existing GA law in 2020 and 2022.
I recently posted at FR that I wound give dime one to republicans who aren’t fighting against stolen elections. This is a good start. But much more needs to be done
Is Ruby Freeman going to prison?
Then you can go to h3ll China paid Kemp. You've just created an illusion that something was done about vote fraud. They will still sneak private donations in through the back door.
Corrupt election officials will still get paid. The mules will still get paid. Nothing serious was done, and this is why China paid Kemp signed it.
Using Occam’s Razor I simply assume that if the Rats are against something it’s good. If they are for something it’s evil.
This never fails.
“Is Ruby Freeman going to prison?”
Ms. Freeman will never be held responsible for her actions and neither will her daughter. I expect both of them now have a very fat retirement fund and eventually Ruby’s book will be on the NY Times best-seller list.
That book will be published once the Feds give her permission to tell “Ruby’s Story: How one Woman was Lynched by Georgia White Supremacists” which they will write for her after coaching her as to what she is supposed to say on her book promotion tour. It may be released around September of 2024 for the most media coverage leading up to the November election.
common sense
So now all the funding goes through the state election board? Didn't the Georgia State Election Board receive Zuckerbucks?
.....Democrat election offices too poor to finance the level of fraud we need to win....
Fixed it.
Out of state donations to any in-state election should be banned with a 10 year minimum sentence if you’re caught.
Perhaps you should read the law he abided by in the 2020 election. He requested the law be changed after that election. It was and he signed it.
There is the letter of the law and doing the right thing. State legislators were pleading with Kemp to call a special session so they could investigate the glaring election problems. He was going to, then did a 180 when his daughter’s boyfriend died in a car crash. The next Monday, he changed his mind.
He never addressed the issue of SOS Raffensperger changing election rules regarding signature matching in a settlement agreement/consent decree with democrats in March 2020. That was illegal, only state legislature can change election law.
I could go on, there were so many things that were wrong that he stood by and allowed. Why did he allow Raffensperger to oversee the GBI investigation into the election. Issues? Everything had to go through the SOS.
A strong governor would have stood up for right. Allowing others to undermine GA election integrity is as bad as doing it oneself. There is no excuse.
This. He’ll sign a consent decree to throw all the safeguards out.
State law didn’t allow mail ballots, only absentee if requested and approved. In 2020 they ignored law and did drop boxes, kicked out observers I Fulton Co (fake water main break), didn’t require signatures, let votes be counted relieved after election day, etc.
Bingo
“Fixed it.”
____
It’s not just that they do not have the money needed for the fraud, it’s also that they do not have the election workers willing to participate who also have the mental capability to execute the fraud. That’s why they need outside assistance.
I suspect they promise large sums of money for the election workers to do and say certain things, but the “powers that be” can’t be assured that the election workers can remember their duties and the narrative they are supposed to spout. Therefore, they need a handler to be on site to keep them on script. That’s where the funding for “neutral election observers” may come in to play. That is not set out in this bill, but I remember prior to 2020 there was discussions in Georgia regarding funding for such “neutral observers”. If we are speaking of Fulton County, Georgia, an observer would probably be a democrat party member that was also approved by the local GOP.
Georgia politics, for decades, has been just as corrupt as those in many other states. The corruption has just flown under the radar while being covered up by both parties and the media.
And the lead detective from the Geogia State patrol who was investigating suspicious details about that car crash died shortly afterwards under mysterious conditions. Supposedly a suicide.
What a coincidence!
I am not a great believer in coincidences. Looks to me like a very clear message was sent and acknowledged.
Some very bad guys own Governor Kemp now. He is going to do what they tell him to do. There will be more unfortunate accidents if he refuses.
I agree - especially after his speech at Davos.
Mail-in voting law:
Georgia law has allowed any voter to request an absentee ballot since 2005. Voters are able to request absentee ballots through online, by mail, by fax, or in person. The State Election Board voted unanimously earlier this month to create the absentee ballot application website.
Absentee and mail-in ballots are synonymous in Georgia.
Mail-in/absentee ballots must be requested...or automatically sent if checked during primary voting.
