Black Californians could receive up to $1.2 million in reparations payments, task force says

(KTLA) – The state of California is one step closer to paying reparations to Black residents whose ancestry goes back to the American slave trade.

The California Reparations Task Force released estimates, as well as breakdowns of the methodology used to determine the amounts, on Monday ahead of a critical vote that will take place later this week.

The possible payments reflect the work of economists who advised the task force and who were asked to estimate the total financial losses suffered by Black Californians impacted by slavery and institutional racism.

As outlined by the San Francisco Chronicle, an eligible resident who lived in California their whole life and was 71 or older could, in theory, receive as much as $1.2 million.

If reparations ever happens, there will be a lot of very happy drug dealers. My guess is that the $1.2 million will be gone in one or two years.

This is the biggest and smelliest piece of bovine scatology I've ever seen in my life.

Where, exactly, will such money come from? California, despite its natural resource wealth, is governmentally-bankrupt.

I was gonna say there will be a lot of happy criminals. Murder and theft will skyrocket, once they know there are millions of dollars in their neighborhoods, right next door.

Whose money are they planning to provide these reparations with? There better not be a dime of US taxpayer money in it. Raise your own taxes to cover this ridiculous arbitrary amount and watch as your voters come for you with pitchforks. Pandering has its limits, even for democrats.

The biggest swindle ever played on white Americans. They’re idiots for putting up with it.

It won’t. Every terrible program they have is funded by the responsible states and taxpayers from the rest of the country.
The federal government is sustaining states like CA, just like they sustain the fed, big banking and big pharma.

Translation: Just stringing you along so you’ll keep on voting for Democrats. Pay no attention to those destroyed, once-beautiful and thriving cities! Look! Money! (Well, promises of money.)

Why didn’t these fuzzy nutted “ecommunists” factor in how much they would have made if their ancestors hadn’t been slaves brought to America? What if they were still living in a hut over in Africa. How much would they have made then? This “Task Force” full of thieving swindlers who are FOS.

Yep, if this goes through, we will hear sob stories in a few years.

We will hear how some people just couldn’t handle their reparations money, and lost it in swindles, gambling ,drugs, starting a business which failed, or other problems.

There are many stories of people who win lotteries, or inherit big amounts of money, and who don’t handle it well, and lose it. If reparations goes through, there will be a certain number who will repeat the sad stories we’ve heard before, of people who gain great wealth with no knowledge of how to deal with it.
