Maybe chance is the wrong word. But wouldn’t the deep state want to have a candidate that is at least polling at more credible numbers? Miraculously finding votes to overcome a massive electoral slaughter at the last minute again will give away the steal and even the bonehead, true believers in the MSM will have to take note.
It just doesn’t make sense to run Biden or Harris again. Not at all. People have seen the chaos they’ve caused and people are quite sick of them.
They just don't care about that anymore. Biden is obedient to the orders of the cabal that installed him in office, and it is easier just to keep him in place and gaslight the public that he is competent. It is too much trouble to replace him.
Biden is a "dog king". His continued presence in office is a calculated insult to the American people and demonstrates that we are incapable of resisting the regime and removing it. The Deep State will keep Biden in place as long as they can.
It doesn't matter what people think about Biden or the Biden administration. What matters is what "we the people" do. That is basically nothing, so far.
Worse yet, a substantial plurality wants the Democrats in power forever. "If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on support from Paul".
1) maybe Biden is the only Dem candidate with a broad enough appeal in swing states (scary, but maybe true)
2) Dem's are confident they can push Biden through to another victory or
3) That they can do a bait and switch later in the race and still win
4) Biden might be a unique "compromise" candidate that was essential to the 2020 steal (obviously not because of his appeal, but because all of the critical Dem factions could be brought together to support and cheat for a puppet president)
