It was, for the first time, a one-word answer to the question all the political pundits ask about Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
Wall Street Journal editor-at-large Gerard Baker asked Youngkin on Monday at a “Governing America” conversation with the Milken Institute: “Are you going to be dusting off that fleece jacket and getting out on the presidential campaign trail later this year?
“No,“ Youngkin said.

Glenn could use a few more years of experience before going for the highest office in the land. All in good time.

Smart man. Now if DeSantis can get all of the big-money goons and their useful idiots in the GOP (like Rove) to leave him alone for a day or two, he’ll realize that it’s best to sit this one out too.

Cool and calm is his baseline. Minimal rhetoric.
Somewhere along the line, though, he better know how to fight with the Dems. They don’t play nice when you appear to be a real threat to their agenda.

He might be more of a Worker Bee type of person, vs a Meet & Greeter who always has a story to tell.
Some good administrators don’t really enjoy campaigning, because the enthusiasm is forced and must be repeated each time you meet a new group. Other’s, like our Donald, are naturals, or over the years, they have developed a public persona they are at ease with.
