I have yet to read a plausible account of exactly how machines - without human intervention - could take over and control all world affairs: industry, commerce, healthcare/medicine, science/technology, politics/government, and on and on. It’s impossible.

An artificial intelligence will need human hands in order to act in the world. And certain humans will willingly serve it, in exchange for power and wealth, just like our current human power elites have plenty of human minions serving them.

A superior intelligence would have the power to predict human behavior, and the ability to influence humans to do its bidding. Someone serving AI would have access to information about how the stock market will go, and how best to invest. He would become wealthy.

Do not discount the idea that an intelligence without physical presence cannot have great influence in this world. What is Satan, if not that?
