Are these shallow excuses really the best reasons The Hill can come up with for why Democrats wouldn’t want Biden? How about he and his family are scandal plagued embarrassments with growing evidence of corrupt and treasonous payoffs from the Chinese, Ukranians and Russians? How about he is clearly suffering from dementia and is mentally incompetent? How about the clumsiest and chaotic US military withdrawal since Vietnam resulting the catastrophic collapse of the Afghan government to the Taliban? How about a disastrous foreign policy of trying to appease the Russians leading to the invasion of Ukraine? And those are just things the average Democrat would hold against Biden; Independents would have more.

It may be nice to believe that when the Mafia ran the business, they were just "non-partisan gamblers, but aren't the gamblers the ones who place the bets, not those who take the bets?
Anyway, the Democrats have already put a lot of money into "ballot harvesting" for 2024, so even if Trump could win, he's unlikely to.
