Ukraine Thanks West for Patriot Missile Batteries, But Says it Needs ‘Much More’

Ukraine is grateful to the West for the deployment of advanced anti-air missile systems but they are not enough and “much more” is needed.

New air-defence weapons systems given to Ukraine by Western nations are now deployed and “on combat duty” says Air Forces spokesman Yurii Ihnat, who used the statement to reflect on the arrival of new equipment to also call for more. The comments came as fresh Russian airstrikes injured at least 34.

Speaking on Ukrainian television, Colonel Ihnat said: “Believe me, all the Western weapons that are available now, to one degree or another, are working for our victory… But they are not enough. We understand that saying that IRIS-T and Patriot are in Ukraine is quite good news for us, but we still need much more of them.”

“(allowing Russia to take Ukraine) would have deprived the massive EU market for American goods (meaning America’s absoutle downfall). Its all about securing markets - the true driving force behind the US economy.”

Cool, so you agree with us that Europe is basically a US colony...actually sounds a lot like Trump talking about Syria for that matter, when he bragged about US pumping out the oil from Eastern Syria and keeping all the money!

Great stats, thanks !

It truly shows how the EU will makes Americas economy great again.
This process has just started, the EU market for American goods is growing fast.
Also, the EU and USA now understand the dangers in doing business with the communist Chinese regime. The West is coming together again. America and EU market can become auto-sufficient.
We don’t need Russia, and China. Let us free ourselves from the those pimps.

Long live Western economical independence!

Agreed. Whatever the outcome of the war in Ukraine, these economic changes are likely to be permanent. And I like where you said, "Trump’s absolute dream has finally become reality."

Syria is not a country, its a s... hole country.
Europe on the other hand is a massive economy, producer of knowhow, inventions, technology, and has all the raw-materials one can ever dream of. It’s a super-powerful business area.

I wouldn’t say that the EU is now becoming America’s colony. But... it’s more like the West coming back together in an economical agreement in working closely together. We are the same people.

EU and USA is a massive business economy far surpassing the strength of the China-Russia economical alliance.

The West working profoundly together means the end of China’s dominance and the death knell for the dreadful “globalization” era which ONLY benefited CHINA.

Is the US Japan’s colony?
It is, per the implicit logic you are using.

You don’t have to limit yourself to the US MSM.

You can go to the trades, Euro right wing newspapers, (Figaro, ABC, etc), or the Polish press.

“What the USA is now paying to help stopping the Russian invasion of Europe is peanuts compared to what it’s already earning and will continue to earn in the future thank’s to America’s effort in securing its EU business market. (includes the American oil market)

Remember, America became a rich super power only thanks the WWII. Europe became a massive consumer of American goods. Back then it made America Great Again.”

EXCELLENT OBSERVATIONS!

Thanks for sharing :)

Given this big change in our petroleum/carbon exports to Europe, it now makes more sense for US to be promoting solar and wind power. Use our freely available natural resources, and save the drilled/mined carbon for export revenue—MAGA. I note our coal exports also increased in 2022.

By the way, what do those 3 didget figures in front of each export category mean?

Sadly, after this “deployment” I think we can very probably count on any technological secrets relating to the success of Patriot missile systems no longer being so secret.

the video of the actual explosion is something. clearly a lot of missiles destroyed of one type or another. blast wave too, visible even at night.

we may never know just what all got destroyed there, unfortunately.
