Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, says that if President Joe Biden would not invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House, he would invite him to Congress.
Speaker McCarthy made his remarks in an extensive interview which will be published in Monday's Israel Hayom newspaper.
McCarthy says he does not know the timing, but if it happens, he will invite Netanyahu to meet at the House. He adds that the Prime Minister is a dear friend, and as the leader of a nation with very good ties with the US, he believes the visit must happen soon.
The Speaker added that he, too, has yet to meet the President since he entered the role 80 days ago, joking that he guesses that he's in good company.

Not meeting the senile demented resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is not a thing to be worried about.
Traditionally, socialists are anti-Semitic. Democrats are socialists, as anyone with a grain of honesty and integrity will know.
The obeisance of US politicians to a foreign potentate is just as disturbing with Israel as it is with the Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis just came back from kissing the ring, criminalizing the free speech rights of Americans with a bill signed on foreign soil.
I don’t think it’s anti-Semitism. Obama hated Bibi. So did the Clintons. Now Brandon does. Often I dislike him, but anyone hated by Democrat Presidents can’t be all bad.
Behold mikegreenwell39 — DDS victim.
SAD
.
I remember when Bibi was speaking before the U.S. Congress about how Iran was a threat to peace in the Middle East and the security of Israel. The look on Pelosi’s face was plain. That soulless stare spoke for itself of her disregard for the safety of Israel, a country surrounded by enemies. And at the end of his speech, the Democrats completely rejected his request for support. Yes, I think they are anti-Semites.
They didn’t show that sort of hatred for Ehud Barak, Ehud Olmert, Tzipi Livni or Golda Meir. Just Bibi, Begin and Sharon.
Historically, the leading thinkers and organizers of socialist/communist parties and revolutions have been disproportionately Jewish.
“Historically, the leading thinkers and organizers of socialist/communist parties and revolutions have been disproportionately Jewish.”
Marx, Jewish. Trotsky, Jewish but hacked to death in Mexico. OK. Jews, less than one percent of the world population. Marx and Trotsky, more than one percent of the “thinkers/organizers of socialist/communist parties and revolutions”. Yeah. Disproportionate. So are the number of people who were hacked to death in Mexico who were thinkers/organizers, etc. But a great many more died in the Gulag.
They didn’t hate Eshkol either, and he even went so far as to win a war.
Yes I know. But some of the most anti-Semitic people on Earth happen to be atheistic Jewish ones. I don’t have an explanation for it, but some of the most aggressive haters of Israel are non-religious Jews.
Our nation is literally collapsing. Why does this matter AT ALL?
Offhand, I can think of Joe Slovo (chairman of the South African Communist Party and the only non-black member of the ANC), Hungarian Communist dictators Bela Kun (1919) and Mátyás Rákosi (1947-56 -- so brutal the Soviets blamed him for driving the Hungarians to revolution), the Bolshevik Grigory Zinoviev.
Those are just off the top of my head, though I've read of others whose names I forget.
You might also read this article from Israel: Stalin's Jews.
Actually, during the Bolshevik revolution's first couple of decades, even Orthodox synagogues in the West sent contributions to the Soviet Union, as did the capitalist banker Jacob Schiff.
I don’t have an explanation for it...
Easy. In 1917, Jews regarded the Tsar as their worst enemy, holding him responsible for the pogroms that still occasionally broke out. And one of the first acts of the new Bolshevik government was to make anti-Semitism illegal. This is why even capitalist and religious Jews saw the revolution as a great improvement for Jews.
Did you ever see the 1925 film, Battleship Potemkin, by the Soviet Jewish Communist filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein? In one scene, the workers are screaming "down with" this and that. Then a man shouts, "Down with the Jews." All the workers suddenly stare in horror at the man, then tear him to pieces.
To Christians, the revolution was godless Communism. To many Jews, it was the end to anti-semitism.
Of course, a great many Jewish Bolsheviks were executed by Stalin in the late 1930s. Communism began to grow nationalistic and anti-Semitic. Some Jews became disillusioned with Communism. A few (e.g., Ayn Rand) never believed. Others (e.g., the Rosenberg spies) continued believing.
I don’t doubt there were others besides Marx and Trotsky. My point is that even with just those two, the numbers are “disproportionate”. In America, the “disproportionate”-ness is huge, when you count Bernie Sanders, Abbie Hoffman, my old pals at the open mike readings in the village, my late father, all his old pals in the Chicago Peace Council...
But “disproportionate” is still a minority. The numbers of apolitical or actively-opposed-to-communism Jews who ended up in the Gulag Archipelago is also “disproportionate” and far outnumber those in the intelligentsia and leadership.
So go with the flow. The Titanic is sinking. Why hold your breath?
It's been said (I wish I knew by who):
Out of 100 Jews, only 5 will be radicals. But out of 10 radicals, 5 will be Jews.
