Dear Indians, the word ‘warrior’ is not yours.warrior (n.) c. 1300, from Old North French werreier (Old French guerroieor) "a warrior, soldier, combatant, one who wages war," from werreier "wage war," from werre

For crying out loud.
Indian mascots was originally a progressive ideology to promote Indian culture in a positive way that had long since been buried in the public schools. Of course THAT didn’t last and now it’s bad.
Sick to death of this woke nonsense.

My high school’s logo is the bald eagle. I’m told that the school board is now trying to contact real eagles to get their permission to continue using the logo.
This has proved difficult, as eagles are a protected species. You really can’t follow them around asking questions.

Weird. Native Americans were not the only civilization with “warriors.”

Have they contacted the Legal Eagles at the local Bar Association to get their input?

When did the Indians copyright the word “Warrior”. I’m sure whitey has been using it a hell of a lot longer than they have been using it.
