If Russias intent was to not encircle bahkmut, then why all the false bragging for the last 8 months by the agression supporters that it was surronded, encircled,has fallen, etc,etc,when that was supposedly never the objective? Does not add up.

I’ve never heard anyone say it was encircled. We can and could always plainly see that it wasn’t. Zelensky is a complete idiot, shovelling scores if not hundreds of thousands of guys over a worthless patch of nothing in the name of “winning” memes. and Putin is capitalizing on his stupidity.
Russia WILL take it. They are like ants and don’t care about casualties. Most of not all of Ukraine will end up Russian federation territory at the end of all this. Laugh it up about casualties a d the years it took. No one cares. Russia gains a huge chunk of territory at the end of this. Ukraine cannot and will not win. Winning was never in the cards for them.
