It’s more than that. Trump for years was an international businessman...negotiating large deals and living by his wits. He changed the NY skyline - that is no small thing. He is his own man and I always thought it absurd to call him anyone’s puppet - he of all people is his own man.

Meanwhile DeSanatis is being propped up by the same old RINOS - Paul Ryan, the Bushes, the billionaires who want to buy a politician. I had hopes for him for 2028 but they faded. I don’t think he’s his own man. Might as well elect Paul Ryan.

I don’t see anyone but Trump who is able to confront the evil that we see all around us. Although that Vivek guy sounds good - but he’ll never get elected POTUS - at least in 2024.

And neither will Trump.

That's my biggest problem. He has no path to the White House in 2024.

We can debate bumpstock bans, $4 trillion in Covid spending, gay parties at Mar-A-Lago, and the many other examples of Trump's natural inclination to default into the New York liberal he's been since birth.

I don't care about that so much.

My biggest problem with Donald Trump is that if he's at the top of the ticket in 2024, HE WILL BE SOUNDLY DEFEATED!

And not just defeated for his White House bid, but he'll take the House down with him and any chance for the GOP to retake the Senate. And if the Dems have a strong Senate, they WILL pack the Supreme Court! Mark my words on this.

It will be an absolute catastrophe for America.

DeSantis? Maybe he has a 25% chance at winning but 25% is a helluva lot better than zero percent which is exactly what Trump has.
