Russia's private Wagner militia, which is leading the assault on Bakhmut in Ukraine and has been active in Africa, could soon cease to exist, founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said in video remarks to a blogger that were released on Friday.
It was not immediately clear when Prigozhin had spoken and how serious he was being. Earlier this week he withdrew comments about the frontline he said had been a joke.
Prigozhin has complained repeatedly about how Russia is conducting the war in Ukraine. He often says the regular armed forces are not giving his men the ammunition they need and sometimes accuses top brass of betrayal.
"Now, with regard to the need in general for shells at the front, what we want. Today we are coming to the point where Wagner is ending," he told Russian war blogger Semyon Pegov.
"Wagner, in a short period of time, will cease to exist. We will become history, nothing to worry about, things like this happen," he continued.

It stands to reason that IF Ukraine were advancing at all we would be flooded with war videos here in the states to show how the billions being (supposedly) pumped into this country are doing anything besides the war pigs skimming at both ends...manufacturing and outright laundering of cash....I in no way support Russia’s attacking but I know how obama’s /Sotoreo’s 3rd term operates...I loathe the current illegal administration in power here in the United States....May God smite them and their demonic muzzie bastard from Martha’s Vineyard....so sad they allowed that bastard to reside on an island I ran around on as a youth ....we have no federal legitimate government at any level , no oversight anywhere as satan has corrupted so many in power.

Now that they (Wagner) are officially designated as a transnational criminal organization, they need to burn that brand, and regroup under another name - like the KGB calling themselves the FSB now.

Prigozhin is always a bit of a drama queen when he needs support from the army, but he and Russia’s Minister of Defense Shoigu are bitter rivals. Not just as MoD, but Shoigu also owns a PMC that competes with Wagner. If Shoigu can manage to grind down his competition, it is a win-win for him.
And, the Russians have intentionally kept roads open to Bakhmnut so Zelensky can keep feeding soldiers into their meat grinder. A slow grind benefits Russia, YOU IDIOT.
