I keep hearing about all these "armed protestors", but never hear anything about how many were charged with violations of D.C. gun laws?

If there were so many armed Trump supporters undertaking an insurrection that day, how is it that they didn’t take over the Capitol and most of downtown DC ??? It seems to me that if this had been a real insurrection, Trump supports outnumbered the police about 10 to 1 and they could have done whatever they wanted to do.
