DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Some elections equipment being used for training in DeKalb County has been stolen, according to elections officials.
An official with the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office says that a DeKalb County elections official told them an unauthorized person had gotten access to equipment that had been used for training.
A check later revealed that 19 poll pads were missing.

Serial numbers of all approved voting pads should be documented, and pads not on the list should not be allowed to be used in any upcoming elections.
The poll pad...isn’t it just a plain monitor, and has to be connected to a ‘server-like’ box to count store the vote? Is there actual memory in the monitor?

No. I think the poll pad stores actual voter and ballot information. Someone more familiar with the election electronic equipment can correct me if I’m wrong.
In Hall county GA, the poll pads are iPads with a special attachment inserted in the hanging port.
They could be sold, even for parts.
Hanging = charging
Here is a description of poll pads and what they do.

“Poll Pads encrypt voter registration data at rest and while in transit, utilizing a minimum of Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit data encryption. However, the Poll Pad application has the capability to store a voter’s driver license number, Social Security Number (SSN), or portions thereof. This voter data is supplied to Poll Pads during import of voter files from the jurisdiction’s election management system. “
Poll Pads are used in place of paper poll books to check in voters, see whether they have already received or voted a mail ballot, and direct them to their correct polling place if they are in the wrong location. The Poll Pad software runs on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Apple iPad tablets. The tablet is connected to its base by an AI Data stand arm, which allows the tablet to be swiveled to face the poll worker or voter. The Poll Pad application supports English, Spanish, and French languages. In jurisdictions that require voter identification to be checked at polling places, the built-in iPad camera can be used to scan a voter’s identification.

Then it’s probably some KGB or Chinese Secret Police effort, to copy and build x-number of fake kits and insert them into the election.
Even if you figured this out in some region that 300-odd fake kits existed on election day...then what? To the paper-drill, and no one trusting the back-up system to work?
Knowing nothing, I’d guess there was some sort of residual evidence the thief was simply looking to disappear.
Something’s rotten in Georgia...
DeKalb County is either the crookedest county in the state, or the second-crookedest. Fulton and DeKalb keep vying for the lead.

The dems and are already generating fraudulent votes to bring in at the dead of night in 2024.
When my wife went to early-vote in Travis County, Nov 22, police were present at the polling place. It turned out to be because one of these ipads had been taken to help a supposedly disabled person vote at their car, and they drove off with it. I voted on election day and the credentials check had me sign with my finger and the person validating my ID signed with their finger, meaning all the voter and checkin signatures are impossible to verify. I believe voting fraud is well underway in Travis County (contains Austin), for instance protecting the Soros DA.
should use the stylus not a finger to sign period
Sure, and get their index fingerprints and a picture of their faces too. The wherewithal to capture those are built into my ipad.
OH wow had no idea.. thanks
