The Murdoch’s hate to go to trial and almost always settle out of court. Think back to all the money they handed out to the FOX female employees who said Rodger Ailes sexually harassed them.
They probably would have won on appeal. It was their decision to lose their money without fighting the charges.

Listen very carefully … Fox News, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post and many others are the past … they’re floppy disk, cassette players, 8-track tapes, phone booths, and pagers. Citizen podcasts are the future.

There are only a few independent reporters we can trust. Tucker Carlson is one. Simon Ateba and Glenn Greenwald are also on that list.

And yet at the same time, and this is the amazing thing, the undeniably big topics, the ones that will define our future, get virtually no discussion at all. War, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power, natural resources.
In my opinion his statement packs a punch and this part nails it. If he had a platform to dive deep on these topics I'm sure he'd have a huge audience.
When was the last time you heard a legitimate debate about any of those issues? It’s been a long time. Debates like that are not permitted in American media.
This is Carlson morphing into the cheap Carney version of himself, and that's his Sad duality.
Anyone who works in the media knows that the programming exists to attract the product to sell to their customers. The product being your eyeballs and the customers being advertisers.
Folks always argue editorial decisions really drive programming, which they do. If you believe we live in a mostly capitalistic media market, that means news not picked up by one outlet can find a home on another, assuming it has the product to bring it to market.
The other angle is the product can't be brought to market because of the Deep State. This is very intersting and could attract a lot of advertisers, particular when pieces of Proof can finally be discussed.

He did not. Murdoch even said it wasn’t about Dominion.

Let’s see how it shakes out. Twitter is not the platform where Tucker will ultimately end up and Twitter is at the mercy of Amazon’s servers. So Tucker starts speaking the truth and guess who gets pulled like parlor. Rumble and truth social are completely autonomous
