Tucker has admitted how he has moved from some of his old views. He has even called people who he wronged by his earlier opinions and set things to rights with them.
You never throw away a person who stands for you. He will be even more so after being untied from the controlled opposition news that is FOX News. I see Tucker as being thrilled this has happened because he has the freedom to be as he is.
Bannon is saying that is a strong possibility that he is still under contract with Fox and as such, he can NOT cut another deal until his contract is up maybe 2025 or so.
I am not saying that is true but only that Bannon says it might be a possibility.
If that is true, don’t expect to be seeing him soon.

I haven’t watched Fox News since Obama was elected. From time to time, when someone posted a link to one of Tucker’s opening monologues, I’d watch them. Every time I viewed one, I wondered how much longer they were going to let him say what he said. I knew it was just a matter of time before they’d can him. Goebbels lasted as long as he did because he lied for Hitler. Had he ever started telling the truth, he would have disappeared. You can’t be an honest journalist anymore. They don’t want you to do the research needed to find the truth. If you do try to provide accurate reporting, you’ll be deep sixed.
