Governors of states go on trade missions to other countries frequently. People are paying attention to this only because he might be a presidential candidate. It normally is not even news when a governor of a state goes somewhere.
I agree , if he is doing this just to try to show he has some foreign policy credentials, such photo ops are a joke.

Besides which, such trade missions usually last one or two days. How long has DeSantis been on this multi-nation tour, and how quickly did it follow his book tour?
