Then why were so many FReepers pissee off at her? Even today, some here go ballistic when her name is mentioned — because (they say) she abandoned her job?
Maybe they are angry with her, because she resigned as governor before her term was up?
I am not one of those Freepers. I can only speculate why some Freepers take issue with her. I have to refresh my memory as to why she said she was resigning.
But the fact is, she did not resign to run for vice-president; did not resign from an elective office to run for another elective office. Anybody who takes issue with her, saying she resigned to run for VP is factually wrong.
