Liberal voting patterns are terrible for city survival. Right now the City of Asheville cannot keep an effective police force. The city has a priority of inciting racial hatred and endlessly discussing reparations for slavery. I could never live there and support liberal lunacy.
We have visited Acheville quite a few times over past 20 years. Cannot say they have a “black” problem. What they do have is a woke liberal young ideals mind set. It seeped in over those 20 years and took down a nice area. My wife one time wanted to move there yet on our last trip she told me she felt uneasy walking about downtown after dark as we left a restaurant.
Asheville leaders are lily-white leftists.
It’s not Black folks causing problems in Asheville, it’s the Stalinist/Stalinazi honkeys.
