I retired 3 years ago upon retiring I cut ALL CREDIT!! Paid off ALL bills now if I don’t have the money I don’t buy it!! I had a home on the beach which had enough equity that I could sell and buy a beautiful home in the desert area for CASH!! I LOVE my life now NO DEBT is AMAZING!!!

You might be right, but here’s another aspect of the issue to consider. I have two friends who work in Washington, D.C. Recently, while discussing the possibility of a cashless society, they told me that entire city blocks of retail stores, restaurants, etc. near their offices have now posted signs on doors and windows informing the public that they do NOT accept cash!
