"The newspaper became online-only in July 2017 and launched its Russian-language service in 2020. In 2022, its headquarters were relocated to Amsterdam in the Netherlands in response to restrictive media laws passed in Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. The website was later banned in Russia.
Some foreign correspondents started their careers at the paper, including Ellen Barry, who later became The New York Times Moscow bureau chief." - wiki
RevMom, we miss you and your fellow warmongers on the international relations, global inflation, and US dollar debasement threads.
Why is it you and yours don’t care about the loss of blood & treasure?
Will we hear from you when the dollar collapses?
When they reinstated the draft and send our kids to die in Ukraine?

This is an extended version of an older video from March 2023 and/or early April. The older, short version claimed that the blast was caused by artillery (some versions said, mortar). Some descriptions say that the guy at the entrance, died, but there remains confusion - because some say that whomever died, was a fellow about whom, the guy at the entrance referred to, shortly before the blast.
Another description for the short version, claimed that the bunker occupants were dejected, disgruntled for variou reasons - and the bunker took a direct hit. That version was probably meant to discourage Ukrainians.
There have been many more repeats of older videos, lately.
I am guessing, that is because some effort is being made to reduce the amount of information being transmitted to the Russians.
But Ukrainians and online chat venue members continue to give away military information including geographic coordinates - either directly stating latitude and longitude or indirectly via using Telegram and TikTok.
The Ukies crossing the Dnieper is YUGE. The Russians expect a counter-attack in Zaporizha and the Ukies are taking advantage of Russian weakness in Kherson province. With enough boats and air power, they could land enough forces across the Dnieper. Clearing the Kinburn Spit is also a possible goal for the Ukies. The Spring campaign is starting.
I suggest you start your own media update threads on those topics. They interest you particularly so that should be a good incentive to put in the work.
The Ukraine has nothing to do with America, save for the pocketbooks of a very few, protecting the Biden/ Bathhouse regime, and the ancient ethnic animus of relative newcomers. It is a vile and disgusting cause.
Must totally like SUCK to be on the side of Moscow, Beijing, Minsk, Tehran, Havana, Pyongyang, Managua, (not to mention Medea Benjamin’s Code Pink and Ilhan Omar) and other crappy totalitarian backwaters against the West and freedom on the Ukraine invasion issue.
coexist - diversity - dnc democracy means

same plan for russia
what do you think
their plan is for Israel
No need. There is no shortage of threads on FR about the collapsing dollar, international de-dollarization, and the growth of BRICs… all resultant of this war between two former Soviet states that Joe Biden and the left decided grift off of.
Maybe you think $100B + to the corrupt Ukraine is nothing. Maybe you don’t care because you don’t pay taxes, or are unaffected by inflation? Maybe you don’t care about the war escalating because you imagine you and yours would never die over Ukraine.
Sleep easy keyboard warrior.
I pay rather a lot of tax.
I also know that US spending problems, from other classes of expense, are orders of magnitude greater than that for Ukraine. Nobody cares about the big picture however.
Who, for instance, is exercised about US medical spending? Nobody. But that’s #1 or #2 in the factors that will destroy you. It certainly won’t be Ukraine.
It is the sexy controversy that attracts the trivial cranks.
The Biden regime and the sick US institutional system depends far more on Chinese payoffs. By orders of magnitude.
But you don’t care.
“dense!”
Dense??? My comment was “*** CAUTIONARY NOTE: Moscow Times.” Which I will continue to repeat caution.
TRUE, the Moscow Times has a very interesting and yet convoluted history. In April 2014, the longtime editor-in-chief Andrew McChesney was replaced by Nabi Abdullaev, a former Moscow Times reporter, news editor, managing editor, and deputy editor-in-chief who had left in 2011 to head RIA Novosti’s foreign-language news service.
Shortly after his appointment, Abdullaev argued in The Guardian that the west’s “biased journalism ...robs the west of its moral authority”. In Autumn 2015 Abdullaev was removed from his post and replaced by Mikhail Fishman, former head of Russky Newsweek.
Today, when it comes to reporting on USA news, the Moscow Times has a negative opinion of Donald Trump and his relationship with Putin, e.g.: “Trump Isn’t Putin’s Puppet. He’s Just Unfit for Office.”
We both have have freedom of thought and expression to hold our point of view. I respect your freedom to hold your opinion. I also hold that it absolutely is not my responsibility to “change” or form the opinion for some one else.
Hopefully, the facts I share will add additional input on an issue. I understand difference of opinions are TOTALLY fine with me.
“The Ukies crossing the Dnieper is YUGE. The Russians expect a counter-attack in Zaporizha and the Ukies are taking advantage of Russian weakness in Kherson province...The Spring campaign is starting.”
Appreciate your comment. There surely appears to be increasing military activity.
PONDER: Is the Ukanians troops crossing the Dnieper reminiscent of George Washington crossing the Delaware River to attack an isolated garrison of Hessian troops located at Trenton, New Jersey?
Washington and his very worn-out Continental Army crossed an ice-choked Delaware River on the frigid Christmas night in 1776 night not to just get to the other side. His aim was to conduct a surprise attack upon an isolated Hessian garrison around Trenton, New Jersey.
Apparently, there was a British spy within Washington’s headquarters that learned the early plans of Washington’s war council & passed this info that Washington looked to attack north of the riverto British Major General James Grant. Then, Grant passed this information to General Leslie and Col. Von Donop in turn passed to Col. Johann Rall at Trenton. Either Rall dismissed or even welcomed the threat stating “Let them come… Why defenses? We will go at them with the bayonet.” Thankfully, his military arrogance had the upper hand as to why Rall wasn’t more prepared to defend the town.
The day before, Rall had received two American deserters that had crossed the river and told the Hessians that the American army was ready to move. Also, other loyalists informed the Hessians that an attack was imminent. These series of false alarms and the growing winter storm gave the Hessian defenders a sense that no attack was likely that night, e.g.[they were celebrating & drunk!]
Washington contemplated canceling the attack. His militia was tired, hungry, and ill-clothed. Previously, they had marched many miles through the dark and snow to even reach the river crossing site. From there, they needed to board boats at night. During the river crossing, one soldier recorded that “it blew a perfect hurricane” of snow and sleet. Finally, after crossing the river, Washington was dismayed to discover that he was a full three hours behind his schedule.
His continued plan called for another march of 10 miles to the outskirts of Trenton on roads covered thick with ice and snow. Washington later wrote, “…As I was certain there was no making a retreat without being discovered and harassed on repassing the River, I determined to push on at all Events.”
Remember, not only had the militia crossed the river. But, the Continentals under the command of Col. Henry Knox brought: 18 cannons over the river: 3-Pounders, 4-Pounders, some 6-Pounders, horses to pull the carriages, and enough ammunition for the coming battle.
The 6-Pounders, weighed as much as 1,750 pounds were the most difficult to transport to the far side of the river. However, all the trouble to move all this large artillery to Trenton proved it be extremely important. Col. Knox placed most of his artillery at the top of the town where enabling to reach the center of Trenton.
Other interesting facts:
-Col. Henry Knox was given command of the river crossing operation.
-It took the American army roughly 4 hours to march from the river crossing site to the outskirts of Trenton
-Temperatures for the crossing ranged from 29 degrees to 33 degrees, with brisk winds coming out of the northeast.
-Future US President James Monroe crossed with the American forces and was wounded at the Battle of Trenton.
-Washington chose the challenge or counter-sign of “Victory or Death” for his forces who crossed the river.
-George Washington was 44 years old at the time of the Delaware River crossing.
-There were roughly 1,380 Hessian soldiers in and around Trenton at the start of the battle.

So after over a year of fighting, and defeats at Kiev, Kherson, and Kharkiv, the Russian army has secured a strip of land in the southeast part of Ukraine.
Like Putin and his band of former Soviet kleptomaniacs isn’t corrupt?
