The only reason Sununu is saying this is because he is apparently an assistant democrat, globalist, open border, Bushleague RINO schill who probably wants to go back to the days of offshoring jobs and importing the 3rd world.

Sununu’s brand of Republican is anything BUT a fighter to begin with. That is why Trump got elected in 2016. People wanted a president that would finally take names and kick ass.
Other than Trump, I haven’t seen a mealy mouth RINO who is a fighter. Most expose their soft and weak yellow underbelly prior to primary debates.
Trump lost the popular vote in 2016, decisively.
He won anyway when 60 000 Democrats in three States voted for him because he promised to build a wall, stop illegal immigration, lock her up, and re-shore the factories they had counted on for their children to be able to have the lives they had enjoyed.
He did none of those things, and his share of the white male vote dropped in 2020 enough to turn Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania blue.
