“The Miami real-estate agent Michael Bordenaro told Insider in 2021 that 40% to 50% of his clients who are new to the state move out within a few years.”

In my area none of the incoming have moved back out of Florida.

In North Carolina they call 'em "halfbacks". Retired from New York to Florida, couldn't stand the heat, the humidity, the crowding, the bugs, the snakes, the illegals, the hurricanes, the alligators, and moved halfway back.

Politics aside, I can't stand Florida, either. The heat, the humidity, the bugs, the snakes, the illegals, the hurricanes, the crowding, the alligators, and worst of all the arrogant New Yorkers.

That’s because they haven’t met you yet. Once you start talking they’ll be running out of their homes like the place was on fire.
