We need to encourage women to be mothers! Mothers are much less liberal than single, cranky, “liberated” karens with no stake in the future of society.
What got us into this mess to begin with was breaking up traditional extended family units that used to provide childcare along with old age care. This was done to usher in the modern age of atomic families that could move hither and yon as employers wished.

I’m a low-end landlord. Every couple is working. I gather that they’d rather not have both working if they could eek by without two incomes. But when minimal electric bills are $150 per month, and you never know when you might need to replace an engine or pay for an unexpected medical bill it would be a risk if one person stayed home to raise a child.
My dad was making enough money as a union electrician to send all three kids to college and still save a bundle. He even retired early due to health issues. Of course, although I thought our home was very adequate it was nothing compared to the average home of today. They owned it outright because my dad and his father built it.
