For whatever reason, I've always believed Christ would return in my lifetime. Since a young boy I've believed it and I cannot tell you exactly why. My own parent's weren't overly religious, we barely went to church every Sunday.
So are we living in the end times? Of course. Mankind has lived in the end times since Christ's birth, death and resurrection. If we trace back through the Old Testament all the times Christ's birth was foretold, even sooner than that.
If we look at how events of our day are accelerating, how evil has taken such a hold on our country and indeed the world, and how evil is now blatantly called good, and good is blatantly called evil, I'm more convinced than ever we're living in the end times.
Does that mean Christ will return in our lifetime? I don't know. The evil we find all around ourselves today gets a whole lot worse than this before Christ returns, IMO and based on my still limited understanding of our Lord's word.
My own opinion is it's a question of how quickly the acceleration towards it becomes. We're told to be ready every day for good reason.
young people that it is their “human right” to not tell their partner that they have HIV.
I remember years ago, well, decades ago, that there was a guy who had AIDS and slept with lots and lots of people. He was convicted of attempted murder, IIRC, on multiple counts, because he didn’t tell any of his partners he had AIDS.
Man, what a change in society. And no, not a good change at all.
Long term planning. Drumming up future business.
