"The difference per laptop made in the USA vs Made in China is amost nil. About 6% is labor." Can you please supply citation for this? Links would be great. Also please factor all components being built in the USA not just assembling the laptop itself (which is already one in the US).

The average cost of labor per unit of manufactured goods is around 8%. Even UNION made autos, the labor is 10%. Companies dont want you to know this stuff but it is not much difference in making things here vs China. They will sell out a US worker for 1 penny on the dollar.
