Two Russian men who claim to be former Wagner Group commanders have told a human rights activist that they killed children and civilians during their time in Ukraine.
The claims were made in video interviews with Gulagu.net, a human rights organization targeting corruption and torture in Russia.
In the video interviews posted online, former Russian convicts Azamat Uldarov and Alexey Savichev – who were both pardoned by Russian presidential decrees last year, according to Gulagu.net – describe their actions in Ukraine, during Russia’s invasion.
CNN cannot independently verify their claims or identities in the videos but has obtained Russian penal documents showing they were released on presidential pardon in September and August of 2022.
Uldarov, who appears to have been drinking, details how he shot and killed a five- or six-year-old girl.
“(It was) a management decision. I wasn’t allowed to let anyone out alive, because my command was to kill anything in my way,” he said.
According to Gulagu.net, the testimonies were given to founder and Russian dissident Vladimir Osechkin over the span of a week. It said Uldarov and Savichev were in Russia when they spoke.

“I want Russia and other nations to know the truth. I don’t want war and bloodshed. You see I’m holding a cigarette in this hand. I followed orders with this hand and killed children,” Uldarov said, describing his motivation for the interview...
Uldarov said in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Soledar and Bakhmut – which have seen some of the fiercest fighting – Wagner mercenaries “were given the command to annihilate everyone.”
At one point in the interview, Savichev described how they “got the order to execute any men who were 15 years or older.”

War is HELL. There are no War Crimes—WAR IS A CRIME! The only Crime in war is losing. Awful things are done on Both Sides—No Angels here. This is true of all WARS—even the so called Good War—WW II—Our GIs did some awful stuff to the French women after D-Day. (Read “What Soldiers Do”. Book) The French have never forgiven us. Only a few Black soldiers were punished for rapes (Shot) and none of the whites. Granted he Germans were worse—and so too the Soviets and Japanese.
In fact the claims are already debunked. The men were raped in prison on video on order of the US-sponsored NGO supposed to defend prisoners’ rights and forced to make such claims for the videos not to be released.

Dailykos.com has a post up about this same report. Hook, line, and sinker. No questioning of the narrative allowed on by the leftists. Several of their commenters suggest that if GOP wins with the Presidential election (Trump or DeSantis) the same thing will occur in the USA. Lunacy.
At least here there are some critical thinkers left that recognize this story is probably fully or partially fake news. (To be fair most at FR are critical thinkers.)

Why, are you based in Canada or have you been to Canada? Things seem alright on a day-to-day basis. Lower crime and fewer homeless people than the U.S. It isn't all sunshine and roses, but everything is comparative. Most of the woke is something we hear about on the news but it isn't something you see unless you go to a college campus or a downtown area, with some exceptions.
