Yep, the situation contributed to this. 1) 10pm on a week night. 2) Black BLM riots for the past 4 years with little or no police reaction and no deterrence setting up some who might fear for their lives. 3) "pulling" on the door

A reasonable person would shut and lock the main door. A reasonable, armed person wouldn’t open the main door in the first place. They’d either use Ring or talk through the door. I don’t feel sorry for the old man. He’s a dumb fuck who deserves what’s coming.
