He could have ordered her to move away, told her to leave or he'd use his weapon. He did neither.

With all due respect, he was not supposed to do any of that. His sole assignment was to murder someone, or many someones, in cold blood. The more the merrier. He took her.

She was probably raised with the false premise that the Police were/are your friend. At one time, I believed that also. I have since been disabused of that notion. She learned the hard way that the Police were not her friend. Should one desire to lead a long productive life, the Police are to be avoided like the plague. One can protect one's self from the criminal element. One cannot protect one's self from the Police.
