If I was a cop anywhere...big city,suburb,rural...my attitude would be "I don't wanna have any problems at all so I'm just gonna hang out at the donut shop".

That way he doesn't get shot and he doesn't wind up doing 20 years for shooting someone who needed shooting.

Yeah, a lot of shots, and less than half (obviously still a lot) hit him.

Yost said officers fired 94 shots at Walker over 6.7 seconds. Walker had 46 gunshot wounds to his body, which included entrance and exit wounds. There were no drugs or alcohol in his system.

The number of shots is irrelevant. I thought the rule was you keep shooting until the perp stops moving. You could also say, “In for a penny, in for a pounding.”
