Graham is a bureaucrat. He wants status quo, and apparently he doesn’t care how that’s achieved or maintained.
Properly maintaining a constitutional republic is probably down on his list of things that he finds necessary or serendipitous.

I have no idea how this is going to go down, but the lad is somebody who’s somewhat proficient at computers, and he’s in the Air National Guard, a weekend warrior along with a bunch of other weekend Warriors.
He might have been the go-to guy to put together a presentations of this nature and as the guy who put together a presentations of this nature he was probably exposed to a lot of things that is command probably didn’t even give a second thought to, and the youngster took advantage of that.

"Traitor" would imply that this kid leaked the documents to promote some kind of ideology or intended to harm American national security. The evidence points towards him being a colossal idiot, but not an intentional traitor.

All BS. With so many Chinese nationals and progeny of Chinese nationals working for security agencies all of that information is common knowledge already in Russia and China. Chines indoctrinated everyone who comes to the USA wit the knowledge that their relatives in China would lead better lives and stay out of prison if the emigrés co-operate and send back every bit of information they encounter. Family means very much more to Chinese than to Americans. There is a Chinese police force with police stations around this country to help the emigrés remember what they are actually here for.
I don’t think he “got to them.” I think he was fed the documents though he may just think he got them on his own.
