Entitlements mean retirement for the American Middle Class that funded it. It is their money.
Note “Entitlements” doesn’t mean in their usage - giveaways, foreign aid, Ukraine Corruption, money to able bodied people that would rather deal drugs than work, and all the free benefits to people of unknown criminal status that show up from other countries and sign up for program after program.
Entitlements are not Obamaphones, free Computers, and wiping away Student Loans.
They hired Andy Griffith when they wanted to sell Obamacare to the peeps they see as Goober; the Deep State has hired Pence to sell the theft of Social Security money from the middle class of the country.

I suspect that Pence is running to ‘Clear his name’ regarding his association with Trump. He knows the attempt at the White House is futile, but if he successfully does clear his name, he’ll get some cushy exec. position at a Government Organ (such as Google, Lockheed, etc.).
The only reason we have a cult of personality in the GOP is because Donald Trump is the only Republican who has figured how to win a Presidential election since 2004.
Actually, Trump won two elections, but that is a Comment for a different thread.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking even though I’ve said nothing to anyone about it until now.
There’s one or two others that are auditioning for the VP slot.
