There’s no reason for Special Forces soldiers to be in the field in Ukraine. They’re instructors, and tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained in countries outside of Ukraine including our country.

Civilian journalists often write “special forces” for the purpose of sensationalizing their articles. It’s often hype, but they know that civilian readers will lap it up, just as they do entertainment fiction portraying our military forces as sinister people perpetrating vast conspiracies against us. Zombies from evil military experiments, anyone?

Congress wants equipment be accounted for in Ukraine, and that’s what they’re getting, probably with military personnel other than special forces.
