I must be doing it wrong. The one I want has a twelve month backorder time.
Uh huh, Mr. or Ms. Journalist. Go ahead and demonstrate to us how that is done. I'll pay for the parts. Go ahead. We'll wait.
They've probably never heard of an 80% complete lower receiver, and the specialized tools it takes to complete that. Any receiver that is ready to go out of the box is already serialized and has to go through all of the FFL regulations required for transferring to an individual. But this breathless fantasy that all of you are repeating like parrots sure does make for some good (anti) gun porn.
Largest source of stolen guns? Guns left in cars.
And why do guns get left in cars? Because the gun owner has to go into a place where his carry gun is prohibited.
How many crimes are solved because of firearm serial numbers?
In light of the Bruen decision, is requiring serial numbers unconstitutional?
In light of the Bruen decision, is the GCA ‘68 unconstitutional?
What we need is sensible, reasonable liberal control.
America does have any gun problems except the limited number of full auto weapons and their price. We do have a problem with malicious British busybodies sticking their noses into our Bill of rights and we have a real problem with home grown tyrants trying to remove our fundamental God given right to self defense.
You miss the method most kids are “making” guns. 3d printers. Or 3d2a activities.
Some of them currently in use can print a glock pistol in 8 hrs or a pdw in 14. Similarly ar platform print in less than 24hrs. The big work is setup, and tuning. The potential in design is limited only by the print envelope of the printer and the imagination in the user.
Yup; made lots of them when I was a kid, even taught my son how to do it.
We made one in the garage that would have been classified as a 75 caliber, fired it with home made black powder, made a hell of a hole through the garage wall.
Never tried that again!
