Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang urged Germany to avoid confrontation on Friday as Beijing continued its diplomatic push to win over Europe.

“China and Germany have to cooperate and not confront [each other]. Neither a zero-sum consultation or bloc confrontation is necessary,” Qin said after talks with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, who warned a military escalation in the Taiwan Strait would be a “horror scenario for the whole world”.

If America stands with Taiwan, she will stand alone. Won’t be too long before America is financial isolated and suffering from economic collapse and internal strife. China and Russia are gonna waltz right in take over.

How long will the west continue to fund China’s military given their bully-boy attitude?

I’m sure there are dozens of other countries who could use those factories.

"Horror Show" in Russian is 'Harasho' (хорошо) which means 'good'.

So, China is saying a Taiwan conflict would be good.

Good.

Europe will be out, but there is still the Quad; but even that is shakey given India’s newfound “neutrality.” Biden has succeeded in squandering whatever credibility Trump had built up over his years. The rest of the world has little further use for American foreign policy.

This is probably worth typing:

1) Military officers need to have warfare to win medals and the more senior the officer, the less time they have left to establish themselves in history as the winner of great battles.

2) Oil is everything. Civilization’s lifeblood. Taiwan has none. If they had no oil, food could not move around the island to feed people, because this is part of oil’s all powerful reality — it is fuel to transport food.

3) The talk of invasions and taking over and great battles is mostly from generals. Truth is, bombing the oil importing infrastructure on Taiwan’s coast generates surrender in a couple of weeks. Oil is everything. Taiwan is an island. It imports all its oil by sea.

4) No, you don’t have to blockade Taiwan and risk war with US Navy ships. Just bomb the ports. Relatively easy. Surrender happens soon.

5) Do some reading about 1946 (note the year) Japan. They had no way to move food around. They were starving, and the war was over. In Germany, a little known fact. After Germany surrendered, Eisenhower refused to release German POWs in England so they could return home. It was months later. Why? Germany had no food or food transport. More mouths to feed was not a solution.

Only guarantee from invasion in today's world is nuclear weapons.

Last year my girlfriend and I went to South Korea (she’s Korean). We took a day trip up to the DMZ.Scary doesn’t even begin to describe it! As China gets stronger and we get weaker it’s a given that Kim will invade....with the full support of China.

You could not be more wrong. American resources are enough to sustain this country.!Let the world fend for itself. It is going to be an unstable place.

If Little Kim and his Sis invade, they will have Russian and Chinese support. With our troops left without support and Japan’s reluctant posture out of fear of a a Nuke attack—we will have no choice but to surrender our men to the Axis forces. Good news, Korea will be unified at long last. Japan will no longer have a rival. The Russo-Chinese Navy will keep Japan in check with threats to cut her sea lanes with a few subs.

That’s true....Russia will surely be involved too. Wouldn’t it be fun to watch what happens if DJT (or any noteworthy person) were to announce support for both the ROK and Japan developing a nuke!

American resources are enough to sustain this country.

True, but once Russia and China isolate us by going from petrodollar to petroyuan, and coupled with high inflation, the dollar will crash and become useless. American resources COULD be enough to sustain us, yes, and I agree, the world can fend for itself. The problem is, we are already teetering on the brink of serious internal strife from various factions. We are seeing that in the whole Bud Light thing. 1. The petrodollar becomes obsolete thanks to china. The dollar crashes. Internal strife gets even worse. We can't fight a civil war and wage battle against Russia and China.
