Thirty years ago, your beer choices were Miller, Coors, Budweiser, their related brands, and some imports like Dos Equis, Heineken, and Guinness. Today, there is a far wider choice in the beer section. Some of the craft beers are owned by the majors, but others are not.

Maybe not at the corporate level but lots of small breweries out there. I’ll put a yes vote for the Russian River brewery. Tasty stuff!
