Hey :( see post 14. LOL :(

When you go to the article from the Hill, 2minutes ago it says McConnell to return to Congress after 5 week absence. So looks like no retirement.

I guess the question is he leaving the Senate or just his cushy job as Majority Leader.

How about Tommy Tuberville?
To: crusty old prospector
Indeed.
(And I endorse the B. option)

“Senators John Barrasso of North Dakota, John Cornyn of Texas and John Thune of South Dakota”
3 f’ing RINOs. God help us, we’re going to be stuck with yet another namby-pamby, gutless, wonder for 10+ years.
How about all conservatives rally around someone who is different...because doing the same damned thing isn’t exactly a recipe for success when it hasn’t worked so far.

Too bad they don’t listen to us. The draw back on Johnson is that WI is kind of purple and he squeaked by in 2023 election. But maybe being Senate leader would help him.

That is only because he hasn’t been caught yet.

Oddly, people in TX think Cornyn is “basically conservative.” Easily fooled ones!
To: ConservativeInPA
Barrasso, Cornyn, Thune.
Just more of the same old establishment of weakly GOP who will want to play nice with the Dems.

KY has a law that the Governor must pick from three names submitted by the party of the dead/retiring Senator.
But I’m sure it’s unconstitutional, since the Constitution says vacancies shall be filled by the executive authority of a State.

I have never understood the animosity here towards Mitch McConnell, without whom we would not have a 6 to 3 conservative supreme court.
