Sounds like a bad science fiction movie....does anyone watch
“Fringe”. I just ran across it a couple of weeks ago - never heard of it but I’ve watched several episodes - they play one after another for hours, I think. They investigate strange occurrences!!!! Couldn’t help but see a similarity to this story.

I’m not sure. But it is possible that it was a grain dust explosion. Large grain storage elevators have been known to explode.
