Approximately 18,000 cows were killed, and one person was critically injured, in an explosion at a dairy farm in the Texas Panhandle on Monday.
The Castro County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with Fox News Digital that the cows were in a holding area before being brought in for milking when the blast occurred at the Southfork Dairy Farm in Dimmitt.
Very few cows in the holding area survived, officials told local outlet KFDA.

Great our frigging socialist govt is targeting our dwindling livestock yet again.
That black smoke looks like the cows were in for their recaps. That would have to be a dairy farm like one I’ve never seen?
There are bigger dairy farms than 18k head. Fortunately not many.
Oh Dear God. Those poor cows. Prayers for the family of the individual killed. I truly believe this is more sabotage. Too much happening to be mere coincidence. We are under attack.
“”The speculation was probably what they call a honey badger, which is a vacuum that sucks the manure and water out and possibly that it got overheated and probably the methane and things like that ignited and spread out and exploded and the fire,” Rivera told local outlet KSAT.”

It would probably help humanity if we nuked Geneva.
Yes, it was 18K head. I’m very skeptical this was an accident based on the number of chicken farm fires, food processing fires, train derailments, meat processing plants destroyed, egg processing plants destroyed along with 10,000 head of cattle all dying at one time up in Kansas I believe.
This appears to be sabotage. All this within 2 years of the Biden administration? Uh huh!

You think Sherlock? :)
This makes absolutely no sense at all!

Very warm and dry weather in that area today, any discarded butt could have started a fire, blown the propane tanks and set fire to the structure. Just a theory. Sabotage not ruled out, but an easy day to accomplish it.
Used to raise red Angus mix. I loved them.
Sounds like a bad science fiction movie....does anyone watch
“Fringe”. I just ran across it a couple of weeks ago - never heard of it but I’ve watched several episodes - they play one after another for hours, I think. They investigate strange occurrences!!!! Couldn’t help but see a similarity to this story.
As a buddy says, “No koinkydinks.”
I’m leaning on sabotage.
the enemy within... the USA is in big trouble
There was a huge slaughter during the early days of The Rona. Never understood why that happened. Beef prices fell briefly, then shot up, and have pretty much stayed up.
Is there a history of this type of thing happening in the past? Even on a smaller scale? Also, a blast that killed upwards of 18,000 cows, but only one employee was seriously injured? Has dairy farm technology advanced to such a level that only one person was necessary to be that close to the operations of milking 18,000 cows?
As I said, this doesn’t make sense. Not at all. I live near a dairy farm with about 200 cows. I can’t imagine the size of a farm of 18,000 dairy cows and the operation that goes into milking that many of them a couple times a day.
If methane build-up is a risk, wouldn’t an operation of that size have some type of warning monitors?
