Biden this week signed a GOP-led resolution to end the COVID-19 national emergency despite outcry from some lawmakers on the left, priming the country for the end of the pandemic era of the coronavirus outbreak.
While the measure was spearheaded by Republican lawmakers, it garnered relatively strong bipartisan support in both the House and Senate before President Biden signed it on Monday.
