34%= most? Must be new math. That used to be “Only about a third....”

"Most Americans don't see!"

Pharaoh couldn't see after 9 plagues.

Most Pharisees couldn't recognize Christ.

This is not surprising, even though it’s more expensive than when Trump was POTUS, you can still buy gasoline anywhere at anytime, same for diesel, you can still expect to have electric power 99.9999% of the time with minimal interuption.

Why would you think anything other than we have energy no reason to worry, except if you pay attention to the plans to force Americans to buy EVs and what happens when the power grid can’t hold up, something that doesn’t concern most Americans who only think of the next couple of hours instead what happens next year or 5 years from now.

There’s a reason somebody coined the term “low-hanging fruit”.

Those of us who have real educations (e.g., STEM) have known this for a long time. But then, who are we when compared to such mental giants as journalism and studies majors?

Don’t worry. They will take it seriously when they can’t power their homes and cars and electric semis are stalled out on the highways waiting for the 8 hour charging van to show up.

Most people don’t remember gas shortages.

A good percent don’t drive.

A large percent live with their parents…so they don’t know what stuff costs.

The remainder are concerned.

Lost in this discussion is this:

"As of March, Gallup also found that the majority of Americans – 53% – believe the country should "prioritize environmental protection" over developing our own energy supply and being energy independent"

Then it’s obvious that the majority are blind.

But how do they breathe (with their heads up their butts)?

53% – believe the country should "prioritize environmental protection" over developing our own energy supply and being energy independent.

That’s moronic. The two are not mutually exclusive.

The uninterested are the hipsters and Demo base (i.e., IQ < 85) who live in blue cities and hold anyone outside it in total contempt. So, if YOU are having trouble, your problem.

Be glad you are not living in South Africa right now.
They have had rolling blackouts throughout the nation for years, maybe as far back as 2008. The utility supplier; Eskom Holdings needs billions to repair and update their power plants. They don’t get that money from an unstable government.

When the light switch doesn’t work for months with no major storms or floods going on...THEN those aren’t concerned will get their wake up call. But not by phone. No power. Looking good for a new pony express service.
